I have gladly given credit to Gene for adjusting the Bullet Button design to a safer configuration. But the basic design existed with me for quite a while before it was ever released.

My company never has, and never will release designs into the public domain before they are ready for market. If I do not have a product to ship, I do not let people know about it. It is bad for business.

Much discussion flew around about bullet tip releases, but the legal consensus here was "NOT TO BUILD" them. I have always relied upon the legal advice of those on this board that are far smarter than I am, so I continued to market the Prince50 Magazine lock, until the climate regarding bullet tip releases changed.

Please do not insult me or my company by stating the Bullet Button is the creation of someone else. I designed it, named it and marketed it. Without Calguns.net, this product line would not have survived as it has, and for that I am grateful.

    Best Regards,

    Darin

        NAh,

I think the NVA will stay right where it is.

        Thanks for the offer though.

I am becoming a Calguns contributor today because of this thread.

                Okay, but just two.

This thred has already gon WAAAYYYY off topic LOL As a side note however, I feel Californian's owe a debt of gratitude to my beloved, but often shunned SKS. It is the rifle that spawned the "Bullet is a tool" line in the original DOJ wording. A bullet tip is what is required to dissasemble a SKS rifle, and partial dissasembly of the action is required to remove the magazine once the bullet is used. I personally LOVE the good ol' SKS.

Hey Darin, long time no see. Hope things are going well for you!

Lee, I still have one of Sam's mag locks. It was really well built. He was kind of a kook, but not bad. I kinda miss him. lol

                      Xeno,

All is well. How about with you?

Sam's lock was the fully encapsulated one or was that Metroshot. Sam might have had some odd posts, but he was a really good guy.... Without sounding stupid, do we know where he is now?

We should have a Calguns Museum. I have one of the oval nut Bullet Buttons left that I had to recall, after the Cow Palace show. I'd donate it and the first P50 prototype for a photo museum at least.

                        Joefreas,

That is one of my favorite pics. This looks to be more along the lines of the SKS he is holding. But I do not own this one anymore.

I would gladly help fund something like that. The first display could have your prototype and towards the end will be a copy of my LA County CCW (I wish).
Will trade liquor/wine/beer for parts and accesories and ammo! PM me. Dont drink n shoot. Offer void where prohibited. Must be 21 or older, etc. etc.
