noob Question...Remington 700 ?

Hey guys, Had a noob question. Can a Remington 700 in .308 with a 18in Barrel still get out to 1000 yards with that barrel, or only 20" plus barrels.

Yes you can still get out there with an 18" barrel it will just be up to the shooter. You do loose some velocity which will make it a little more difficult but it has been done many times.

Yes it can. It can travel 2+ miles.

As for accuracy shooting...Will be it be supersonic at 1000 yards?...most likely not. Bullet selection will be important so it doesn't tumble when it goes transonic. But it can be done with the right setup.
