    Savage 110 338 LM

Is anyone playing with the new Savage Model 110 in 338LM?

What are your thoughts and accuracy with this toy?

Thought about buying one but ended up with a Surgeon. From the research I did, the mags and feeding issues were the biggest complaint. Most people I talked to said that the mags are junk and could rarely get it to feed reliably. Accuracy seems to be around 0.75" - 1" from factory loads and down to 0.5 with handloads. Also, stiff bolt lift was brought up a few times as well but that seems to be common with all savage rifles due to their cocking piece design.

Actually saw and played with one at a gun store yesterday at Imbert and Smithers in San Carlos. Not impressed. Cheap quality and for that price, I'll pass! For $1900, you can do a lot better.
