What's the SCOOP on an AR-15 .17 HRM Upper

has anyone seen or heard of someone that makes a .17 HRM complete Upper for the AR-15 OLL platform, and any mags. that go with them? would rather have that then a .22 upper tired of plinking with the .22! thoughts?

+1 for the 17 HMR.

The problem is that there are no magazines and conversions that fit 22 magnum or 17 HMR length rimfire cartridges.
Solve that problem and it's relatively easy to do the barrel part.

You CAN do the 17 Mk2 or the 17 Aguila as these are both the same length as regular 22 long rifle cartridges and will feed through regular 22 mags and conversion kits.
