    AR soft case size?

I have ordered a 20" upper and will install it on a collapsible 6 position stock lower. What is the shortest length soft case should I order? Thanks...

A standard service rifle will fit inside a 42" case.

If you collapse the stock, it should probably be able to fit in a 38" or even a 36".

I think it would be best to just use a tape measure.

my 18" upper with Magpul CTR will fit inside a 36" soft case. My friend's 20" upper with Magpul PRS will only fit in a 42" case.

      Just measure it.

My 20" with standard A2 stock fits into an 37" Allen soft case with about an inch to spare on each end, maybe a little less than that.
