For what it's worth I've read they were moa shooters with handloads. No personal experience with them though.

    WTB used AK MFER.

More than likely, it's a Wilson barrel, the same as DPMS uses. My DPMS 1:8 barrel is an easy sub MOA shooter with Black Hills blue box 55gr soft points.

Upper receiver, barrel, low profile gas block, gas tube, free float hand guards, hand guard / barrel wrench, upper receiver block, and 30 minutes of your precious time.

I have a magazine, "Black Guns" and they talk about Del-ton in an article.

They say good things in the article and the author says he's sorry he never saw them before. They make a decent product at a good price point.

I say go for it if you like Del-ton. I considered going that route as well.

looks like a pretty decent price point, at worst, is just as good as the regular uppers for the same price, most Varmint uppers are 599 and up.

I asked about this too jkcerda, and was told that everything is machined to milspec so its pretty much good to go. But if you are worried and would like to check you get a "go no go gauge" which is basically 2 pieces of metal that are milled to look like the rear of a casing. One is shorter than the other and you put one gauge in the chamber and try to close the bolt if it doesn't close then the headspacing is too small. This is just one of the responses to my thread, I have not used one.

All barrel assemblies that have the barrel extension installed should already be headspaced at the factory and are good to go. Would it hurt to double check when you get it? No, but IMO it's not really necessary. You'll need go/no-go gauges, around $50 for both. If you are swapping barrels and bolts a lot, it might be a good idea. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother.
