Stripping Alumahyde II

Recently got a DD rail with Alumahyde II finished applied to it.

I want to know what I can use to strip the Alumahyde off the rail without also taking off the DD logo under it. Not even sure if it's possible... since I think the DD logo & marking is just painted on.

Any opinions would be great.

brake cleaner works well. i don't think it harms the DD logo, but no guarantees.
