I put it together (pretty easy to do) All in all you are looking at $2-3k. Here are the parts and pieces.

            I took a complete 700PSS (.308) and removed the barreled action.($800-$900)
You could always buy the barrel and complete action separate and save some money but I am too lazy for that.

Installed it in an Accuracy International Stage 1.5 Stock ($762)

            Accuracy International 10rd magazine ($75)

Installed a Jewell adjustable trigger. ($210)

            Leupold Weaver Base ($100)

            Badger Rings ($150)

            Nikon 4-16x50 Tactical ($1000)

            Harris 6-9" Bi-pod ($60-$90)

This is one of the reason why I ended up going with a Remington 700 instead of a Savage.

I think, after all the researches, just "out of the box", Savage 10FP is a GREAT deal and will shoot as well, if not better, than stock Rem700. And to make a stock Rem700 feels like a stock Savage, you would have to throw in quite some money...

But then... as for configurability sake... every cool accessory will first to have one for the Rem700 before anything else....

So... at the end.... I am SOLD.... to the Rem700P....

Sweet. Accuracy International Stock... really looks great and I assume performs well. I've got the Rem 700 5R, super accurate out of the box (with a trigger job), use it for long range target and sillouette, but we have a weight limitation for sillouette, not sure the Accuracy International Stock will come in weight wise?
