Saiga .308 ?

Called a local gun store today looking to buy a Saiga .308 and they told me they had sold 30 but had to be recalled ...

Are they legal in Ca ?

yep they are Ca legal, they are basically the saiga 7.62x39 except they are chambered for .308

City Arms in pleasant hill has one in 308.
The guys who run the shop are Russian, so the experience is rather authentic

I havent done it but it looks simple enough to me... then again I grew up around a car shop...

I did a conversion on one and it was different in more ways than just caliber.
