Yes. And its none of your business and none of the governments business if I do.

I want to buy 20 AR15, 5.56x45mm carbines, 15K rounds of ammo per Carbine, twenty 30rd magazine per Carbine, Aimpoint red dots, ACOGs, Plate carriers, and chest rigs....so I can store them and wait for the Zombie Apocalypse...and that is COMPLETELY LEGAL.

Why would this be an issue in CA? most all of our SA (aside from the .22 caliber) need Bullet buttons to be legal here and therefore DO NOT accept Detachable magazines (as your link states is a requirement) and do not need to be reported.
