    Remington 700 detach mag

I'm looking into a detachable magazine trigger guard assembly for a Remington 700 in 300WSM. It will be going into a Bell & Carlson tactical stock if that matters. I'm wondering if the 300WSM will have feeding difficulties since its such a fat cartridge. What do you guys suggest?

When I was at Thunder Ranch in May....asked Clint about it....
his opinion....Badger bottom metal is it.. period... expensive but worth it...

Dang, mags are expensive. I don't see any 300wsm mags. Do I just modify a .308 mag?

I'm really happy with my CDI dbm for my 700p short action (308). They use AI mags, which are expensive, but I think CProducts might make an AI mag now (at least for the 308) which is about half of the price of the AI mags.

Badger uses the accuracy international type mags...which is the big deal...
you could call them(badger) about the short mag...
the 308 is the std for many...

It would be really tough to modify the 308 mags to feed the 300WSM correctly. The magazine lips would have to be totally re-shaped.

Interesting, I'll have to check them out! Nice that they're in CA. But still $$, though i did check and the Cproducts are about $67 each...yikes.

I ordered the CDI and the alphaindmfg 300wsm mag. Hopefully it all fits together
