    7.62X39 hunting bullet?

    Hi,
What's a good one, for reloading that is. Having trouble finding a .311 diameter, or is that necessary?
    Thanks,
    M.

FOr hunting, you need expandable projectile for Game animals. Hornady makes some SP but I would just say...buy Wolf or Brown/Silver Bear or winchester that makes them SP already. Its cheap and it shoots well. I've used Wolf SP 123gr and have gotten good success with it with bears mostly and a few deer

+1 on the Wolf SP. I have used it on pigs and it works fine.

        Hi,
Looking for a bullet to reload with, not ammo.
        Thanks,
        M.

It was mention in my first reply, Hornday 123gr SP.

There simply isn't enough demand for manufacturers to make them. Unless it's a Ruger Mini or a bolt-gun, the bore requires a .311 projectile.

You'll be fine with Wolf or Hornady. If you're in Condor country, not so much.
