6.8 SPC shooters, what's your favorite ammo source?

    Howdy all...

A good friend of mine just built his dream rifle... 6.8 SPC AR.
For Xmas, I'm planning to order him some ammo online and have it delivered to his place. He's out of state, so I need to do the online thing.

I've never looked at prices for 6.8 SPC that hard... is there a good go-to place that any of you 6.8 shooters like to use?

    TIA!

    I've had good luck here:
Check out the line-up of in-stock 6.8 SPC ammo today at AmmoToGo.com - home of the largest selection of cheap, bulk and specialty rifle rounds on the web!

That ammo runs a buck or more per round.

For the REALLY good stuff or brass (assuming he reloads) go here:

Buy him some reloading dies. I had a 6.8 SPC about a year or so ago, finding ammo was a *****, sold it and decided then to start reloading. I will now build another.

^^This^^ Actually, reloading die sets are pretty cheap, about the price of a box or two of the good ammo.

Thanks for the info guys... I sent him some boxes from silver state.

Man... I've been wanting to a do a 6.8 build, but ye gods, even the brass is god aweful expensive! I think I'll stick with .556 and .308 for now.

Unless you hunt 6.8 is pretty expensive for just killing paper.
