    Newb Question BCG/CH

    What part of the bolt carrier does the charging handle act upon when charging the weapon?
    I've only got my stripped lower so far and haven't handled a AR in years.

              Why is it called a Gas Key?

              Answer, because it directs gas to unlock the bolt...its a "gas" key.... lol
