I'm in need of a little help choosing a coating for my AR lower. I had a local anodizer apply type III hard ano in black. The results were horrific, a shiny black surface! I am looking at Cerakote or Duracote as an alternative to Anodizing. Does anyone have any experience with these products? I would like to know the differences between Cerakote, Duracote and Hard type III anodizing. I've failed at my Google-fu. Thanks alot.
