Logo on the compartment door is a dead give away tooOriginally posted by TeddyBallgamemaybe I'm wrong, but, if a $50.00 investment can help me a bit, i'll just have to go a day without the hookers and blow to cover itOriginally posted by ir0nclash86I would wipe it off for the simple fact of not wanting to get sprayed in the face with it during the first few rounds.Originally posted by Ride MadoneIt does not matter. An AR is the very best and safest weapon to use for home defence.Comment

Actually, if you look at the first pic, you'll see that none of them have the VLTOR logo on that side of the compartment. The side with the hinge has the VLTOR logo. On the 5th pic down, you are seeing the hinge side of the real ones and the non-hinge side of the fake one (the rifle is flipped on its side.) Can't tell if the fake one actually has the markings on the hinge side, but I'm guessing it does.
And to the OP, thanks for the detailed post - nice!------------------------------------------------------------
