How is the Enterprise arms FAL's accuracy?

How does the enterprise arms FAL accuracy compare to a dpms ar-15 with a standard dpms parts kit?

Also, who sells the railed top covers?

Fal is not as accurate as an AR-15. My DSA para shoots about 3-4 MOA depending on ammo, which is about normal, after all it is a piston gun. Couple of Entreprise Fals that I had shot well, one didn't.

I hope you don't have a DPMS lower unless it is registered, it is on the roster as an AW.

Railed furniture can be bought here:

Personally, I find it heavy and bulky.

It's a 7.62 battle rifle. The rear sights are on the lower receiver and the front sights are way out on the other side of the hinged upper receiver. Match barrels are a custom order, I doubt Entreprise has them. There are several different makes of railed top covers, the DSA cover is the most stable. Do NOT use the UTG rail, the lockup is poor because it's made for airsoft toys.

You really can't compare a 7.62 with a 5.56 rifle. They're good at different things.

        Apples / oranges comparison.

The accuracy of the Enterprise gun will be much better than Enterprise's customer service.

DSA sells the top covers you need, as does ARMS.

Accuracy is achieved by adjusting the sights. I really think most people here are talking about "precision". It's like "clips" vs. "magazines" and "muzzle brakes" vs. "muzzle breaks".

            This^

Entreprise FALs should get about 3" groups of 5 @100 with milsurp ammo
which is about normal for a FAL. Pictured are two targets of 5shots with
Australian ball @100 yds with the rifle pictured--the two targets overlayed
give 10 shots into 3" which is not bad but an AR type weapon will do
            much better. Pete

If you're looking for accuracy in a 308, consider these options:

                1. PTR91, 2MOA gun. Only downside might be ergonomics and finicky with some ammo.

                2. AR10, sub-MOA. Probably the most accurate of the 308 platforms. Downside is you can't drop mags, and a nice one will probably run you over 2K.

                3. M1A Loaded- 1.5-2MOA. Basically an upgraded Garand with a magazine, great iron sights, bit pricey as these run anywhere between 1500-1800.

Depends on how much you wanna spend, but a FAL is not a platform for accuracy. Get any of the above 3 instead, sometimes for less money if you're looking at the nicer DSA FALs.
