Streamlight= Nice, not super expensive.
Surefire= Expensive!!!

SureFire G2 with a Vltor or VTAC light mount is economical and effective.

There's a bunch of new and used Surefires Weapon Lights for literally half the current retail prices here in the private sales forum and in other forums. I don't have one, but have been playing with the idea due to boredom. Really for my purposes, I really don't need one, just think it'll be fun to play with, if I like it maybe I'll mount it on a good HD shotgun that I don't have yet, but I digress.

Bang for the buck, looks like lots of people seem to be pretty happy with a Surefire 6p LED or G2 LED in a decent affordable mount like a VTAC or VLTOR.

Surefire G2 Nitrolon is okay, and I used to have one mounted on my rifle. If you don't really have a budget, Surefire makes some pricier more dedicate weaponlights. There are some good Ebay deals.

Surefire X200/X300 mounted at the 12 o'clock position is pretty damn near perfect. Truly ambidextrous, minimal barrel shadow.

Plus it was just mean to fit in front of a FSB or Daniel Defense front sight.

I like the Streamlight TLR-1 at 12 o'clock on the DD upper. It's bright enough for anything I would need it for, which is basically CQB and personal defense out to 50 yrds or so...
