    Shipping Ammo to Los Angeles

So far, I can't seem to find a single dealer who will sell me bulk ammo. Is it because I live in Los Angeles City, or LA County, or both?? Any local places I can go to get good prices on ammo? Right now, I'm mad as hell at our stupid mayor and the city council. I actually commute between here and Barstow, and having ammo shipped to any surrounding cities are probably just as bad, since they're all a part of LA County....BASTARDS!!!

Must be LA city. Glendale is part of LA county and I have no problems.

Okay, so here's the second question.... I just found out that there is a gun show in Glendale tomorrow and Sunday.... the Glendale Gun Show. Do these vendors sell ammunition at this event? Anybody been to this particular show?

Hell yea! Cal ammo will be there plus others. Bring bucks cause you feel like buying the entire gun show.

If you can, list your incorporated city instead of Los Angeles. The dealers don't know the difference.
With all this "gun control" talk, I've not heard one politician say how they plan on taking guns from criminals, just law abiding Citizens.

And be ready to wait on a line of similarly desperate ammo seekers...

To quote from Palmetto State Armory: Cities where local laws prevent mail order ammo: include: "Napa and Yolo Counties. The cities of Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento and San Francisco."

No problem. I had the ammunition shipped to work which is not on the list. Seems Kosher as the laws prohibit mail order ammo I believe which would not prohibit me from buying elsewhere or having it shipped elsewhere.

In other words, have it shipped to work in Barstow.

Not that they would necessarily find out, but bringing firearms and ammunition onto post is strictly prohibited. Packages do get screened.

I live in the "city" of San Pedro, which isnt really a city at all, it part of LAC, just like hollywood or echo park or willmington or van nuys, but nobody seems to understand that, so i dont have any problems getting ammo. Just write down a differnt city name they'll have no idea.
