    Trigger pin working out.

I have an AR carbine which WAS a DPMS (on list / illegal in CA) so was rebuilt on an RRA lower. all parts including the LPK are DPMS. Lats coupel of times I['ve fired it after about 15 rounds or so the pin that the trigger hangs on starts working our to the right of the lower, eventually getting to the point where the trigger will move and not realease the sear. Whether this is a DPMS pin being too small in Diamter or teh RRA lower having a too high a tolerance is open to question, but what I need is a pin which won't move. Does anyne make these with some form of gadgetry or device which stops this movement. This was to be my zombie gun but no point having an undead killer if you have to beat them with it rathe rthan shooting it.

I thought that the trigger pin had grooves that the legs of the hammer spring sit in to keep it from shifting.

Check if the hammer spring legs are engaging the notches on the trigger/hammer pins and holding them in. You could have the spring installed wrong or something is out of spec. If all else fails, KNS and JP makes some anti-walk pins.

OP, the pin should have grooves either side, trigger spring should sit atop the grooves.

Also, few bazillion AR15's have been made this way. Check your assembly. It's easy to get the trigger spring ends under the pin, amhik.

                Agro is right.

You'r hammer spring is most likely installed wrong.
