Well, not to be a detractor, but he does not answer emails. I emailed him more than a week ago with a question about a purchase, and just silence in return.

I emailed on 11/11/10 for a quote on some 1911 pistols and no response. I'm sure Rob is cool and all, but I purchased my 1911 elsewhere this week due to no response.

As for the non response to an e-mail , I try my best to answer every e-mail. Apologies go out to anyone who doesn't get a response. If you don't get a response within a day or so, CALL ME. If I am in the shop conducting a transfer, I'll call you back. As soon as I can. Really I will.

Being a one person operation and with the potential for you guys to absolutely bury me with requests, there may be a time or two where a call gets missed. With that in mind feel free to be persistent and you'll be rewarded with a great interaction and an opportunity to have a private gun dealer to work with. Rob is a GREAT guy. I have great luck with email and was able to get the serial numer for my Calgun lower. Matter of fact three of my coworkers purchased one from him as well. Highly recomend.
