    Can any of my fellow Calgunners school me on the pros and cons to an aftermarket chrome bolt carrier .. and what one to go with

      I just bought one. A Les Baer Custom National Match. Haven't gone out to the range yet, but it sure looks good. If you like the chrome bling on your rifle. They are really easy to clean and that's why I bought one. Oh...and the bling. The mall ninja in me....

            Id go with EXO coating ...I.e nickle boron.

            Mine feels like its wet and oily when its bone dry.

              Just easier to clean... it will be a LONNNNGGG time before a properly oiled and cleaned regular mil spec BCG fails. The chrome ones sure look cool though.
