I thought it has to be soft point only there.
Odd range for centerfire rifles. Just a few benches and 100yd only

Yes, they have lots of limitations on the outdoor range. Can't necessarily blame them, though. Directly downrange from the outdoor benches is the final approach to Oakland Airport's main runway. A round that gets away there could be seriously bad juju.

              Thank you for the feedbacks.

Will the range allow the following ammo at their indoor range? None of them can pass magnet test. They are FMJ with lead core.

              FMJ Surplus Rifle ammo
              Surplus Polish 7.62x25
              Wolf 9x18 FMJ

Here are more info from San Leandro Range website:

              “Update: Outdoor Range Repairs
Effective immediately (10/18/2010), the outdoor ranges are operating on a limited schedule.

The 100-yard range is available for use weekday evenings and weekends (all day Saturdays & Sundays) only.

The 50-yard range is available for use weekends (all day Saturdays & Sundays) only."

I stopped going there because of the ammo limitations and the 100yd distance. I just go to Chabot since there are no ammo restrictions. Actually why not just go to Chabot?

well to be fair there's a dump there, rather than them not cleaning the bathrooms or emptying the garbage.

There's the dump on one side and the water treatment plant on the other.

I was a member of Chabot for a few years. It’s very nice there except the operation hours. Chabot opens Fri through Mon. I like to avoid the crowds during the weekend. Mon & Fri are the busiest time for most of the offices. I am looking for a range to go from Tue to Thu in the afternoon.

My workplaces are along I-880 from Union City to Oakland. Livermore is too far with odd hours:
Tuesday 10 AM to 3 PM and 5 PM to 9 PM
Wednesday & Thursday 10 AM to 3 PM
