        Go to AK files...Join.

WASRs are great. I have had 2. One in WA and one her that is castrated. Great rifles for the money. Accurate enough and fun enough. If you are lucky like me, you will get a shooter and never part with it.

Many people stand by their WASRs...Do not listen to hearsay.

I like mine, surprisingly accurate from all the stories you hear about AKs and no ftf. For the money, a WASR is great.
Fallujah had become a magnet for foreign jihadists and there were several thousand in the city who had come to make martyrs of themselves, to die while killing as many Americans as possibleAt each house I said a prayer, 'Please God get me out of this one.' When I come out of the house, I thank Him, light up a cigarette and move on to the next onesigpic

WASR 10/63 will do what is expected.
Lots of aftermarket parts to exploit better ergos.
If you are new to AK format then this will get you going on the cheap.
Do NOT expect match grade accuracy and you'll be surprise at what a decent one will do.
If you get a chance to inspect one before you buy then please do so.
BTW, a scope on one of these little beauties will really make you think you got a great deal. Many are capable of decent accuracy. NOT match but good enough.

My WASR is in jail from HD
They claim to certify those against majority of well knowned WASR issues (wobbling mag, canted sights, bolt issues, bents, etc)
This come with double stack mags, okay to average wood and slant muzzle break.
will report and take pics once take it to range

I got my WASR from Henderson but the wood was pretty rough. A little work though and it was where I wanted it. The mag wobbles some but not an issue. Sights are good to go. With the Draco here, but thinking I may sell/trade it off for another full size.

Why? While they are nice, they are still Saiga conversions.

The WASR's are your basic utilitarian AK rifle. Nothing special and don't expect the most refined firearm.
