Complete AR-15 lower

I'm researching doing my first AR build and decided to go with a complete lower. Who makes a complete OLL?

Off the top of my head, BCM, and Franklin Armory. The latter is a California company.

If you do decide that building a lower is simple-easy (which it is), any lower plus one of these lower build kits takes the hassle out of forgetting to buy one part or the other.

Also check out LMT. They are one of the few high quality mfg's that make off-list lowers.

If you build it up yourself from a stripped lower, watch the free videos on Brownells about building an AR-15. Very helpful, and best of all, it's free

I can't stress enough how easy it is to build a lower on your own. With only a couple punches and 30 minutes + 1 beer you can watch youtube and he'll walk you through the whole thing. It is seriously that easy. Then you know what and why each part works. I was intimidated the first time I did it then after I saw how easy it was, I was building them left and right for people. Get a QUALITY lower like a Mega Billet, or something that will keep you happy and build it yourself. Much better.
