Title should read buffer RETAINER spring (sorry). I mangled my buffer retainer spring while function checking it after installing a new end plate. I didn't screw the tube in far enough to keep the retainer down. I'm supposed to be leaving early tommorrow morning to meet my buddy up in Sonoma and need to get my AR functioning for this weekends activities. Anyone know where I can get a buffer spring early on my way up there??? Or anyone got an extra one they can spare??? I'll bring you a 6-pack if you can hook me up tonite! I'm in San Francisco. Thanks!

Just take the retainer spring and retainer out, shove the buffer in there and attach the upper. The buffer never touches the retainer when the upper is on anyway.Originally posted by MunkIf you have a metal box that has "Anthrax" written on the side, are you a terrorist? or just a fan of a great band?sigpic"Those who would ban extended magazines, will say that although hundreds of thousands are in circulation and thousands more will surely be sold before a ban is enacted, it will be worth it if it saves just one life.
