    PTR PDW

Sigh, if only our state allowed SBRs I would be all over this. Otherwise I would never have a practical use for it. And I think my draco is a mild handful. I couldn't imagine this being anymore fun.

That's not an sbr, and can be made cali legal.
Looks to be similar to what British SAS used to have. It was called the MC something or other... can't recall.

Sorry, I should have clarified. If this could be made into an SBR here easliy I would buy it. But having a single shot .308 pistol borders on useless.

Definitely legal in California if built to compliance and transferred as a single shot pistol. If you think the Draco is a "Mild Handful" the PTR will be "Wild".
In rifle form some people already complain about the recoil strike because it can sometimes be very sharp. As a pistol, you best have a sling you can brace against.

"Transferred as a Single Shot pistol"

You're legally allowed to convert it to a semi auto 10rd fixed magazine pistol after transfer.

I know it can be done, I did it with my Draco the same way.
I have thought about buying it and storing it for the day I move to a free state if that day ever comes. But again this is probably one of the least practical firearms on the planet and I can't imagine this being much fun. Sadly there is a part of me that wants this desperately.

I think "Least Practical" is conditional. A PDW configuration like that makes great sense for vehicle deployment. Trying to exit a vehicle and swing out a 30" - 36" firearm would get old really fast.
BTW... I don't think you should "Sadly" want it. I want one as well for the pure bundle of evil it is.

                LOL @ the .308 pistol.

                Talk about unusable.

                Neat tho.

Since when does a gun need to have a "practical" use other than the FUN factor!

If someone were to ask me what practical use I had for each and everyone of my guns.... I guess I could come up with a viable answer for all of them that might somewhat appease an anti gun type? But for real world purposes, almost ALL of my guns are mainly for the FUN factor!
They just have the convenient double appeal of being useful if needed.

We may be offering these for CA Sales as a single shot pistol , once they arrive we will look at the conversion etc but it shoudl not be a problem . We expect to see them in 2 -3 weeks .

I know, that is what I was thinking by original post. If we could SBR it in this state I would get it in a heart beat. This would be a sweet PDW, but as a pistol configuration would be a handful. It is clearly designed for ease of SBR conversion. Grrrr, this state and its laws....
