    Left-Handed Scopes?

I know nothing about scopes, so please bear with me.

I'm right handed, but I need to shoot left handed because I'm totally blind in my right eye.

The problem with my Saiga is that the accessory rail is on the left, and when you attach a scope, it's meant for someone who's shooting with their right eye.

Question: Do any leftie's here know of any good scopes I could buy for my RAA Saiga .308 which would accommodate my handicap?

Here's a pic - see how the scope leans to the left? Does any manufacturer make any scopes that lean to the right?

OK, I don't know how a Saiga works but I have a bunch of left handed guns. Except for a few oddities a scope should mount directly over the bore of the rifle and be equally easy to use with either eye.

AK's don't work like that, in Commie Russia you conform or you die. The scope sits to the left of the boreline which only works well for right handed shooters.

I dunno about scopes or mounts that lean the other way (I'm lefty myself) but they do make dust covers with M1913 rails on top. IMHO not the most stable platform for a scope, but they do work.

You should be able to find a regular rail that attaches in the same was as that scope, that SHOULD be center line. If not, maybe try the Beryl AK mount (look on Copes), I have only heard good things about those.

Ah. The picture helps a lot. See? I told you I didn't know anything about Saiga's.

I'm righty but left eye dominant - I thought my scoped Garand was a challenge but yours looks more difficult. I use an old steel Weaver & found it to have very forgiving optics with respect to eye placement. Maybe a different scope would help?
