      I remember seeing a SS AR lower with wood furniture and a SS ALS upper. Although it was a flat top, bolt action upper and did not have a wood forend, it looked very nice. However, the A2 proflie stock just isn't what I want on a precision BR gun.

      That said, as far as "normal" ARs go, I'm pretty much in agreement with the majority in that wood does not look bad on rifles with carry handles.
