Charles Daly ARs?

A buddy found an A2 style, .223, 20 inch barrel, Charles Daly for about $750 new, I checked the the DOJ website and didnt see it listed on the AR chart. Is this a good deal? Is the rifle any good?

I'd tell your buddy to skip and look further to another brand. Charles Daly went out of business about a year ago. If the lowered the price another three hundred then in that case I would pick it up but otherwise for that kind of money I'd pass on it.

I'd get it for $400-ish?

But for $750? A few bucks more can get you a Stag with a lifetime warranty or a few bucks more than a Stag you can get a top tier mil-spec BCM or Spikes.
