HK 91, importable?

Can I buy on the internet an hk91 if the seller installs a bullet button/radlock prior to shipping? If he does that, can I keep the "pre-ban flashhider" that comes with it? Anything else I should be made aware of with these rifles?

no you can't. HK91 is on-list and can't be made legal with a maglock.

What if its one of the PTR-91 rifles? I got wind they have a special batch out with a better barrel that accepts surplus ammo better than the originals.

you can get an hk-pattern firearm as long as it is off-list and complies with the AW regs, so either a fixed mag or featureless. Look at the rifle flowchart for more info.

"fixed mag" being what I mentioned earlier right? Bullet button? Does that not suffice as being a "fixed mag"? It already has a fixed stock. What I want to know is what I need to do about the flash hider. Can it be left on with a bulletbutton or do I need to change it to a brake?

If you really have to have an HK, in additon to the HK911, there is also the HK SR9.
