    Is this normal?

Look at where the cam pin rotates into battery on the upper. You can see the wear on the upper at that location. Is this normal? Upper has 1500 rounds and is a RRA complete upper and bolt.

    Thanks

What does the bolt cam pin look like. It appears the pin is hitting the upper receiver.

No blob, that is the cut out for the rotating bolt's pin to rotate inside. The does not look good. Better have it checked out.

Figure out what is wrong first, then fix it. The cam roller looks like more moving parts to go wrong, so much for a KISS gun.

Mine does this as well. I've got approx 4k rounds through my RRA upper/bcg. I guess I assumed it was normal. Haven't had any issues yet.

I have a newer upper which has very slight wear of the finish in that same exact area but no actual damage yet. I will send the picture off to RRA and see what they say.
