    Registered AW Repair

    I have a CA registered AW and I like to send it out of state to get it repair, can any one please let me know how do I do that? Thank you

      I think an assault weapon permitted dealer needs to ship and receive it for you.

        If it was me I'd try to find someone local. I would not want it lost in transit. You'd get your money back insured but you'd be sol trying to replace it as a registered AW.

            oh, H&K. I thought you had an AR or an AK. Start another thread "H&K gunsmith in SoCal". I'm sure you'll find the help you need. Maybe give Riflegear a call?

              Yeah it has to be shipped by an FFL w/ Assault Weapons Permit. $$?

              Good Luck finding one. They are scarce as Hen's teeth. I still have not found one in my neck of the Woods.

              Can get the repair done via a local gunsmith (But you have to remain present at the location).

              I was recently looking for an FFL w/AW permit due to another issue
              and decided I would just save 3 Kittens instead.
