Modification is supposed to be permanent so if it's easily reversed, that wouldn't be a good thing.

if they are not permanently modified you can. some have pins or are epoxied together to prevent removal of the internal block.

i would suggest 44mag.com....they can send you the 30rd mags as rebuild kits and you can get the blocks yourself and build you a legal ca. mag for cali and you can take it apart for your out of state trips...

although, you may have the possibility of getting into trouble in california if your mags are not permanently sealed to prevent removal of the block. (i.e. pinned or epoxy sealed)

I like to unmodify my mags with a slab of concrete and a newspaper.

damn well then i might as well just buy the 10 rounders and not spend the extra on the looks of the 20 or 30 and still only get 10 plus i do have a few of my military mags for when i leave here. i just dont like to take those off post.

the only point of 10/20 or 10/30 is looks or manipulation in drills. If you don't need that just get 10rounders

+1 you do not want to get caught with a mag that can be easily modified to hold more than 10 rounds in ca just my .02 cents
That punk pulled a Glock 7 on me. You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. Dosen't show up on your airport X-ray machines, here, and it cost more than you make in a month.

Whether you get the regular 10 rounders or the 10/20 10/30 rounders you can probably recoup some of your costs by selling them off to another Californian before your next transfer.
No, I don't think I'll ever get over Macho Grande.

Dude, easily. Just sell 'em for a whole dollar less than they go for retail and they'll sell within a day as long as they're in decent shape.
