Yes. A thumbhole stock is an AW feature.

Yes you need a BB with a thumbhole stock
That punk pulled a Glock 7 on me. You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. Dosen't show up on your airport X-ray machines, here, and it cost more than you make in a month.

          Yes.

Unless you can cover that entire dumbhole.

Isn't that considered a sporter stock??? My MAK-90 has one to be legal.

If it's a Norinco MAK90, isn't that on the CA AWB list?

If so, covering the thumbhole stock isn't going to make it legal it's a "named" on-list firearm.

Correct a thumbhole = a feature, but what everyone is keying on is, very few come with thumbholes that are not AWs by name. So whats this firearm?

Thumbhole stocks aren't considered unsporting per 922r, so are often imported on rifles and don't make you mess with foreign part counts. But that is a federal law, while this is referring to California law.

By the way, that MAK-90 isn't a Norinco right? Cause those are named assault weapons and would only be legal if registered as such, no changing of the stock would do anything for that.
