Best Tactical Scope for AR Variants??

Hey all.
I've been considering attaching a scope to my M&P 15.
Thinking more along the lines of tactical .
The ACOG looks promising...
Any suggestions?

What do you mean by tactical? And what do you particularly like about an ACOG?

or a good 1-4x Scope if you dont want fixed magnification.

"tactical" as in battlefield ops. 100-200m; rugged.

Personally I would get some kind of variable power scope. I dont like the ACOG and how little eye relief it has. Like 1.5 inches or so.

Aimpoint, Eotech, and ACOG should do fine from 100 yrds to 200 yrds.
