Depends on what you want it for. If it is for accuracy reasons, it is a solution to a non-issue. If you are looking to tighten up the fit, that is a very inexpensive way to go. Cheaper than an accuwedge. Either way, it will tighten the upper to lower fit. Not sure if this helped or not.sigpicNRA Patron Member -

I tried the O-ring trick on mine and it would not work due to the overhang of my DD Omega forend near the front of the receiver, I used an AccuWedge.
It tightened it up, as far as accuracy, who knows, working the trigger over and putting a better grip on it made it easier to shoot for me.Comment
