Are there any 9mm rifles that are california legal?

And i dont mean stick a bullet button on it "legal"
I mean a rifle chambered in 9mm that functions like nature intended.
The only thing im aware of is the marlin camp carbine but the chances of finding a discontinued gun are slim.

does your bullet button statement discount a MMG equipped AR? Besides my UZI, it's my fave 9mm carbine.

The ones you want have been discontinued many years ago.
Check the auction sites, they pop up every now and then.

Ruger PC-9 (uses Ruger P89 mags)
Marlin Camp-9 (uses S&W Model 59 series mags)

May i ask why you dont want to use a rifle with a bullet button (i know, i know), bur if the option is no 9mm rifle or one with a BB i'll pick the BB.

Look at the Hipoint 995TS from DD's ranch they have them on sale for $330 shipped.......

I don't want a bullet button on my Camp 9 because then I would no longer be able to use my 18rd mags for it

I dont specifically want a marlin camp carbine.
I want to know what my options in a 9mm rifle are.
If the only things available have bullet buttons go ahead and list them.
To me the bullet button is a hassle, if i cant get it with normal functions enabled then why bother.
Im not going to pay more for a neutered version of a gun.
I understand its reversible but i could spend that money on ammo instead.

If you want something new, then you're basically SOL.

If you don't have any hicap mags, build out a nice 9mm AR. They're lots of fun.

I've got a Camp 9 with hicap mags, and a 9mm AR with 10rd mags BB'ed in place. I love both guns.

If you are in SoCal Fowlers has two of the Marlin Camp 9s. One is like new the other is shot some. The price is a little high like 690 for the nice one and 590 for the less nice.
