so from what ive gathered they're just about the same thing minus the submersible depth, lense covers and rubber cover. Anyone have a compC3 and tried to buy the lense covers for it? And is my information correct so far?

I used to have a C3 and it's basically the same thing. I also had lens caps for it. -
Yes, I currently have the C3 with lens covers, and you are correct about the rest. I have the aimpoint rubber cover that came with it as well but never put it on. Great sight and definitely didn't need spending the extra money on one that is NV compatible.
