    Optic for LWRC M6A3 6.8

My M6A3 16" 6.8 is enroute and I'm trying to figure out which optic to go with...

I'm pretty sure that I'm going with a Leupold Mark 4 MR/T w/ illuminated reticle. The big choice is either the 1.5-5x20 or 2.5-8x36 M1 mil-dot. It'll be mostly for fun at the range, but I'm hoping to go deer hunting in northern MN and possibly pig hunting at Vandenberg AFB.

I keep leaning towards the 2.5-8 for the better zoom, but I like the 1.5-5 for the ability to be used as a pseudo red dot.

Pics of the rifle will follow as soon as it's in my possession, and then when it's all dressed up!

Ideally if you have the coin... US Optics SN-3s 1.8-10x on a Larue SPR..
I have an ACOG TA33 on mine...I was thinking of getting the Nikon M223 as I also like Nikon and they are reasonably price and better clarity than the leupy MK4s

US Optics are nice, as are the Nikons, but I really want an IR. Not to mention I have a good connection for the Leupold optics.

I actually came across a good deal on a Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x24 this weekend, and I'm getting an LT-104 to tie it all together. Once it all comes in, and I find my camera, I'll get pictures!

Go with a USO and you will not be disappointed.
