Looking for AR Pistol Grip Screw

I'm looking for a spare screw that secures the Pistol Grip on an AR-15 lower. Does anyone know where I can order/buy one?

Better yet, can it be bought at a local hardware store? If so what are the measurements?

    Thanks

I'd pick up a allen head one from a hardware store. It's way easier to screw in than the flat head screwdriver ones. They were only some pocket change each.

Is the upper buttstock flathead, capscrew the same size, thread pitch and length?

Yes I pulled a LPK just to be sure on the length. I have a few different makes of LPK's and the shortest is 1 inch the longest is 1.250 (1 1/4")

                  1/4 28 X 1
If my local stores don't have these, then will I take up someones offer here.
I'm assuming its a "fine(?)" thread?

It's called a socket head cap screw.

                      1" 1/4x28

1" (length of the screw) 1/4(diameter of the screw in inches)x28(threads per inch)

I had to order hundreds of them for the U-15 stocks. Some hardware stores sell them. If you can't find one I would be happy to mail you one as well.

I believe it's "Socket", not "Socked"

I have this image in my head now of a Socket head cap screw getting punched in the jaw.

OSH has the screws... All my OLL's except 1 have DPMS kits and they use the slotted head.. I replaced them with allen head screws from OSH.
