New pistol cal carbine that takes glock mags?

    Hey,

I heard the other day something about a new carbine that accepted glock mags. The individual I heard from had said something about about the name being EMP company? anyways any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

You can build a 9mm AR that uses Glock mags using this lower.

Lone Wolf Arms is the largest manufacturer of aftermarket parts for Glocks. We also have M&P Shield, Beretta/Taurus, and Browning Hi-Power parts.

I think the TDI Kriss Super V also uses Glock mags.

MSAR is making a pistol caliber STG called an MCS that will accept Glock mags.

Do they actually sell it though?

No. They announced it sometime ago, but the Archangel pistol got in the way (we cannot own since it isn't on the roster). Since the Archangel is done, word is they are beginning the MCS.

Well, just thinking out loud - a Lone Wolf AR type lower with maybe an 11" 9mm AR upper that takes Glock magazines. Would have to be fixed 10 round magazine. Would have to start life as a single shot, and be reconfigured, perfectly useless I'd guess but sort of neat to look at.

I really want a 9mm carbine that takes glock mags (don't care for the Sub-2000 though).

That EMF link reminded me that Olympic makes ARs that accept Glock mags. Also if you do the Lonewolf lower you will have to machine the 9mm bolt a bit so it will clear the glock feedlips. If you want to know more about this Tom from Spike's Tactical did a write up on it, it is somewhere on ARF but you could probably just email Tom. His user name at ARF is Badazzer or something, he is all over the ST industry page.

Anyone made a bullet button for these Glock lowers (lone wolf/Oly) or are they all running their rifles featureless?

how about something that takes an entire glock, not just the mags:

Not useless for free state owners. So could be a 20 or 30 round magazine. Not a big deal either way.
