Have a Super Sniper ( 30MM tube and 42MM objective ) with an ARM's scope mount - which are the correct Badger rings, Low Mount or Medium Mount? Do you have the correct Badger P/N and where to buy?

Ron Smith recommends 0.25" (low) rings for a scope with a 42mm objective, but that's using his scope base. The ARMS sits a slight bit lower than the Smith, but I think it's only a 1/16" at the most. I think low rings would work fine for you.
I have a Leupold Mk4 with a 40mm objective, Smith mount and low Leupold QD rings. I haven't installed it all the rifle yet, but I did check it for fit.Last edited by gunshack; 05-13-2007, 12:02 PM.Comment

My Burris low mounts are .25" and my 30 mm scope is 42 mm. Plenty of clearance up front, but with the Sadlak mount there is virtually no room left on the rear - I clear the rear sight by less than 1/16". If the ARMS mount sits 1/16" lower than the Sadlak - and I think it does - a .25" ring would probably be too low.
If you use a fixed power scope, maybe the rear eyepiece will be smaller & give you clearance.GOA Member & SAF Life MemberComment
