    Winchester M70 opinions?

What's your take on the "new" Winchester rifles? They're sure purty. Heard (or have) any experience with them?

    I have a blue 70 featherweight in 7mm-08 mounted with a fixed 4 leupold.

I love the thing. It's the classiest rifle I've ever owned. It reminds me of my grandfather's .30-06 Win70 from back in the day. The trigger is not as simple as the old one (which may or may not cause problems many years from now), but the pull is nice out-of-the-box. I average an inch and a quarter with many different loads. The smallest 5 shot group was a little less than an inch. That's awesome for me; and I bet the rifle can do better. I just have to work on the trigger actuator nut.

FN makes them and they are known for making good barrels.
