Does anyone know if this is already modified to accept normal AK47 mags? I know the sgl-31 will take regular AK74 mags, but I thought I had heard somewhere that you had to do some gunsmithing for the 21 to do it?

So which do you guys prefer, if you have both AK74/47 variants (not necessarily Arsenal, but thats what I'm looking at)? Really, I guess this could be a 5.45 vs 7.62x39 question, but I know each has its advantages.This may sound strange and unbelievable to you, but it is real and true.

The regular Saigas, not produced or sold by Arsenal, need the mag catch filed a bit, and a bullet guide installed to use standard AK mags...an easy job to do, and very frequently done to Saigas...(I have one)Comment
