Targets and Pelican 1750, random pix

Nothing fancy here, just 2 of our 50yd iron sight targets from last weekend at Los Altos. This was the first time out with my new M1A and it was also the first time I fired a rifle larger than a .22 It was a lot of fun. This weekend I'll be taking it out to a 100yd range and seeing what I can do to sight it in at 100. Also I threw in a couple of crappy pictures I took of my pelican case as it arrived, I'll be attempting to slice up the foam all nice and pretty this weekend.

    My target

Looks just like my case - gets heavy lugging around - but at least it has wheels.

I've taken mine to the range only once. Too heavy to lug around and doesn't fit in the trunk!

Thanks! I got it for $199 delievered from Opticsplanet.com, ordered it on a wed, got it the following tuesday. Budd and Markymark are right, the case is heavy, its about 25lbs I think. It is very burly and a very stout case. The way I look at it, by the time all is said and done, scope, mount, bipod, etc. I'm not putting a $2000 gun in a $40 case. Anyway, it is huge, there is no doubt about that, you will realistically need a van or suv of some sort to carry it.
