    What clonepoint for this upper?

Thinking of a clonepoint from 1337tactical. What mount do I want, high or low?

    Thanks

if you buy one from there, it comes with a mount already. so you dont have to worry about the mount.

FWIW, I just bought an Aimpoint clone off of eBay for $40 (includes shipping). Haven't had the chance to mount and fire with it, but it seems nice, and the quality seems OK.

You can get any clone with a few different scope mounts. I like the cantilever mount myself.

Yep, you want the high cantilever mount. Sturdy, repeatable, and absolute co-witness. He sells it with different mounts, but the cantilever is the standard one.

The low mount will be too low, and the LaRue lever release clone mount has had reports of breakage. If you think you might want to switch it to another style rifle at some point, it's probably worth getting the low mount at the same time and saving on shipping. I'm wishing I had done that so I could try it on my SU16 and PC9.

I ordered the high mount today. I also have a 1.5-6 scope that I am going to use in a one piece mount from 10%. That way I can play back and forth depending on my mood and occasion.
