Shhhhh . . . This is what I have been telling my dear wife. It has afforded me a couple of sympathy gun purchases in the past 3 months. I told her that she is fortunate that there are no purchase regulations/restrictions on shoes and purses. I think she will understand and not blink when I get a new Remy 700 Tactical in 308.

In short, no - no bills anywhere that might ban firearms.

That doesn't mean one could not come along, but it seems the wrong climate for such a bill to succeed.
