Stock is considered pistol grip, so that's a no no.

However many on here have filled in the hole on the stock to make it legal.

Thumbhole stock can be filled in. Do a search, some people did it was a PSL, Vepr, Sl8, and USC.

        That's a nice looking rifle.
Sorry, not trying to hijack the thread, but...
What about on an SKS? Would the Dragonov setup be CA legal with a fixed mag? like this..

What about with a 10 round fixed mag?
I thought if you had a fixed mag you could have a pistol grip

How about a Recoil compensator? Is it consider a flash supressor?

An SKS with a fixed 10rd mag can have any evil features you want. The issue is that a Tigr or w/e doesn't have a fixed mag and SKS's (atleast in CA) all have fixed mags.

I HIGHLY recomend that unless you have a bunch of money to dump on a Tigr that you try and get a PSL instead.

Agreed, PSL's shoot just as well as a Tigr, but are about half to a quarter the price, and look almost identical.

The Dragunov is not a good fixed mag design as the op rod gets in the way of top feeding, just like an AK. Though oddly enough, the scope being offset slightly to the left on Dragunovs is a remnant from the early designs when it was designed to be stripper fed and they needed the scope out of the way.

Filled thumbhole is the way to go. If you do insist upon having an Authentic Tigr or Dragunov, for the love of god please please please do not fill in the original stock, save that thing and order one of the synthetics that are made for it.

there are bullet buttons for the PSL also and they are all non permanent so you won't ruin a good rifle.
