    M1 Carbine heat shield

    Could a Heat shield on a M1 carbine be considered a barrel shroud by law? They look so cool.

    why would that matter? it's late and i am tired, but i don't recall any law regarding rifles and barrel shrouds?

      I guess I am too used to the old Federal definition of the AWB. Same goes with that bayonet lug in CA its not evil its a nice feature.

          A barrel shroud is fine on a rifle, not on a pistol. So go ahead and put the shroud on...mine has it.
